Get your own Biroskop diamond file — a reliable sharpening tool designed to restore the cutting edge of your blades quickly.
It works perfectly with both tungsten carbide and stainless-steel tools.
Why diamond?
Tungsten carbide is an extremely hard material, and the only effective way to sharpen it is with diamond grinding plates or diamond files.
Our stainless-steel blades are hardened at high temperatures, making them very durable — but still softer than tungsten carbide. This means:
-
For tungsten carbide tools → diamond file is required.
-
For stainless-steel tools → you can use zirconium (blue) or tungsten-carbide (black) sandpaper or obviously the diamond file.
-
A regular steel file will not work on Biroskop hardened stainless steel, as its hardness is still too high.
Learn how to use it
You can find a short demonstration video on our Instagram profile showing how to use the diamond file effectively. You can use ANY KIND of diamond 400 file, but we ensure our file is tested and will definitely work for you with our ergonomic handmade handle.
