“A tool, or abstraction, a projector transforming various states, e.g. – concentration. It does not have to be material at all – we know tools in psychology, information technology and other fields in which the medium is not strictly “tangible”. The tool serves operations, allows to achieve states or goals that are difficult or impossible to achieve in their normal conditions.”
We have created new tools – windows to another world, projectors. The world created by Julia Lev and windows created by Biroskop. This is a certain attempt, to come out with a new branch in our work. A branch of tools not directly aimed at working with clay. We want to expand this branch in the future.
These are two graphics designed by Julia in (wooden) frames created by Biroskop. The graphics are hand-stamped and signed in pencil. The graphics are made in pigment printing on thick paper made of FSC certified paper in A3 size.
The frames are made by Biroskop and have aesthetic dark wooden joints on the edges. Excluding the brass elements needed for hanging – the frames are made entirely of wood. The frames are covered with a colorless water-based glaze – so they retain their color and the smell of wood – while being protected. The window of frame is made of glass.
This product is a tool. A tool that you will give a use to – most likely by influencing the thoughts – yours, or others.
