The Sixth Finger is a handle made of Teak wood and equipped with a stainless steel serrated clamp. The idea of this tool is very simple – it is not so much to replace “sponges on sticks”, but to become a challenge for people using textural tools. You can put a sponge in the Sixth Finger and cut it yourself, you can have multiple sponges with different gradations, you can also put a cloth, sandpaper, cardboard, leaves, really anything that makes it a textural tool.
It can also be used as a “sponge on a stick” to remove excess water from the bottom of the vessel during wheel throwing and to collect excess water from the edges of the vessel. Its length is about 25 cm and the cross-section is about 1 x 2 cm. It will work perfectly for bigger vessels with small necks.
For smaller forms, you will also find a “Slim” version in the offer: The Sixth Finger “Slim”
