The tools made from tungsten carbide last for a very long time due to its hardness. Those tools are very sharp and remain sharp for a long time. In this particular model blade is handmade.
Obviously you can sharpen it with a diamond file from time to time. We recommend using graduation 600. But for sure it will not be necessary for months or in some cases years.
We armed those tools with a flat-rounded handle so it fits tightly in your hand.
Remember to be careful with those blades. They are really hard but can also break when you drop them. Make sure you keep them in a safe place, in conditions that will not let them fall down 🙂
While trimming – keep your hand firmly and make sure your clay is properly skin dry. Once you start using them you will find the best conditions for you to trim.
This tool can be used also with totally dry clay or even for Sgraffito !
